Welcome parents, teachers and community leaders!

 

 

My name is Jennifer.  I am the initiator of Positive Rules! I hold a Diploma in Acting, I am a mum and a carer. I have previously held positive thinking workshops at local community centres.

 

Since my child's attendance at school (2007), and my work in criminal and civil law, I have seen a real need for positive thinking and a boost in self esteem in children of all ages, so welcome to the development of my new workshops for kids from age 4-12, teens, and adults.

 
They are fun and enlightening, can be held in the classroom,  my home, yours, or, if the weather is right, even outside.  If you have children attending the workshop, then I would expect you as the  parent or teacher to participate too!

The workshops are full of so many things that it is impossible to list them all here, so go to our contacts page for more information; needless to say, you are able to draw, emote, interact, create, experience, and ultimately envisage bright and beautiful prospects for yourselves and others; and you will leave feeling refreshed and happy.  Alternatively, we can personalise a workshop for you and your loved ones to do at your own time in your own home and at your own pace.

The workshops benefit kids from Primary School (public and private) Grade Prep right through to the puberty blues and beyond, because we cater for all ages here; there is no one age range that does not have a choice to change the way they feel or to be given the chance to move on and up in their lives and attitudes. 

For kids, the concept is simple: a bit of chat, a bit of drawing,  an age and gender appropriate visualisation (eg. a cloud filled trip to unicorn land for the younger girls, or perhaps a ride on an elephant for the boys), a wishing stone, a bit of craft work (creating a gift for themselves or a loved one), and the ultimate awareness that life can be easier and lighter, depending on how we choose to feel.   

We can personalise workshops to suit your child and family should you wish to run your own little sessions in your own home without other people around, or simply because you need your own time and space.  At a small cost we will send you a personalised program along with the items you need for your workshop: all you will need to supply yourself is coloured pens or crayons, and blank paper to draw and write upon.

For teens and adults, the concept is quite similar.  If you would prefer an "adults" or "teens only" workshop, then you don't miss out either!  We cater for teens in that age range that are going through their hardest years and most difficult times.  We can help you handle the changes in your life, the associations in your social arena and the difficulties you face dealing with friends, family and colleagues.  Cyber bullying, being as big and as dangerous as it is, does not have to be seen as such if you choose a different tack and learn to step back from the negatitivies others may want to instil upon you. It does not have to be that way.  You are capable of dealing with these situations with a higher and far more positive attitude.  You just have to learn how.

In fact, many parents, couples and singles need a boost because they are going through incredibly difficult times at present, either due to the current economic crisis or personal issues that we all experience from time to time.  The workshops are very very simple and do not require a lot of hard work or physics degree.  They are not university-minded workshops. They are simple, much as life should be, easy, much as life is meant to be and inexpensive ways of dealing with day to day, or bigger, negative circumstances in your world.
