"This term some of the children in Grade 1DT have been taking part in the Positive Rules for Positive Kids workshops. The idea of each workshop
is to promote positive thoughts and encourage the children to think oif themselves in a positive way. The children who have taken part in the
workshops have had the following comments: `It made me feel happy about myself', `I liked the meditating', `I liked drawing the pictures of
my feelings', `I am a friendly person', `I liked the bags that had lavender in them'. All of the children in our class look forward to working with
Jennifer during the sessions, and her fun approach to the workshops makes it interesting and engaging for the children. We are appreciateive
of her continued work within our classroom."

NEWS 3RB - Jennifer’s Positive Rule Workshop As a part of our Peace and Conflict inquiry grade 3RB has been lucky to attend the Positive Rule workshop conducted by Jenny. The workshop focused on resolving conflicts peace-fully and provided ways to regain a positive and uplifting view of the world and boosting your self esteem when you're feeling down, blue, or just plain grumpy! The workshop started by thinking about a sad emotion which was converted into a happy one as the workshop progressed. Grade 3RB discovered the following facts:
Peace is always around you (Gabby)
Conflicts can be resolved by thinking positively (George and Steven)
You can calm yourself by going to a quiet place and thinking about happy moments (Taylah)
You can change your sad emotions into happy ones by being positive (Shayle and Pooja)
Always stay calm and you can listen to music to calm yourself (Andrea and Melissa)
Thank you, Jenny, for this wonderful workshop.
"As a former primary school principal and as a person very involved in education, I would like to congratulate you on your

"I think it's wonderful you are running these workshops. I worked as a Teacher's Aide Special for 23 years and spent a lot of
time with teens at a school for students with challenging behaviour. I found that the majority of them enjoyed
relaxation/meditation sessions that the Principal agreed to let me run. Take care, and all the best",
